Saturday November 6 : Sale and Auction at the Parish Hall.

Doors open at 2pm (NOT before), the auction commences at 3-3:30pm approx, conducted from the stage.

I am making a special appeal please: we need new, unused or nearly new items for this - things that are portable and people can easily get home. Please NO old TVs, or music centres that no one wants anymore.

All goods will have been sorted, priced and checked at my home and will be stored until the big day. I will do my very best to ensure the hall will be full of good, sound and clean items that will sell.

Lastly, if there is anyone out there that has a special skill, maybe they would do something for the auction e.g. home handyman for the day, an artist painting a portrait, a makeover by a local beautician.

When I first thought about doing this Sale and Auction, I was told that “Witheridge is a very generous village, no problem. So folks young, old and the in- betweenies, let’s do it.
