As the soft light of a full moon illuminates the sky over Saadiyat Island this weekend, Louvre Abu Dhabi’s Sea-Hawk guided kayak tours return. Taking place on both Friday August 12 and Saturday August 13, the full moon kayaking session has two start times: 8pm and 9:30pm, both of which allow you to appreciate the Louvre illuminated by full lunar luminosity. Sea Hawk Kayaking will provide a life jacket, the service of a guide, bottles of drinking water and the use of a changing room with washing facilities, all for 126 Dhs per person.

Take your steps in a fun run
Yas Mall is bringing back the Yas Mall Indoor Run this Saturday. Now in its fourth edition, the exciting fun weekend race is open to everyone aged five and up with three distances to choose from: a 2.5km race, a 5km race and a 10km race. Registration starts at Dhs65 for the 2.5km and Dhs95 for the 5km and 10km. All participants who complete the course will receive a finisher’s medal, because it is the participation that counts.

The third Emirati outpost of Cipriani Dolci is now open at the Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi. A luxurious take on the Italian Pasticceria, diners can expect decadent dishes like torta di cioccolato, freshly whipped to order ice cream, lemon tart, tiramisu and more. Brand new and straight off the bat, Al Forsan International Sports Resort has just unveiled a sparkling collection of six indoor, air-conditioned padel courts to join their existing outdoor courts. It’s the racquet sport the world is going crazy about right now, played doubles over a net with a “sort of squash-y twist” in the playable zone.
