Occupation: Regional Director of Facilities and Environment, Health and Safety

What do you want voters to know about you? I have lived in the Village for 14 years with my wife and two children. I believe the Village of Wolverine Lake is a great community, from our administration to the DPW, the police and the many volunteers who sit on our village committees. Over the years, the Village Council has made careful investments to maintain and improve our parks, roads and police force; however, like our neighboring communities, we have faced many challenges due to the pandemic, and we now face the added challenge of rapidly rising inflation. If re-elected, I will work to ensure that our Council remains fiscally responsible by spending taxpayers’ dollars while safeguarding the progress we have made.

What do you want voters to know about you? I have been a proud resident of Wolverine Lake for 19 years. I love the Village and can’t think of anywhere else in Michigan I’d rather live. My family and I chose to live in Wolverine Lake because of the safety, cleanliness, commitment and welcome we find in the village.

I really enjoyed being actively involved in the process of keeping our police force strong, the roads well maintained, the parks safe and clean, the financial strength of the village and the proximity to our community. Wolverine Lake residents have a unique responsibility to manage our lake, locally, by OUR local citizens. I am grateful for this responsibility and will continue to work with our Water Stewardship Board volunteers to keep our lake fun, safe and our “downtown”.

My family and neighbors often walk our trails and roads leading to and through our parks. I’m always happy to do my little bit to support the Parks and Recreation team as they make it all possible.

Next time you see me in the garden, stop by and say hello!
