Moneypenny launches summer activities program for its employees

With the sun shining in August, Wrexham-based communications company Moneypenny is taking employee wellbeing to another level, with the launch of its summer activities programme. The company has invested in sports and leisure equipment that its employees can borrow, either for their breaks in the beautiful company park, or off-site, for their leisure time away from the office.

For example, people can request games such as Giant Jenga, boules, Swingball, tennis, archery or cricket games, to liven up a family barbecue, or for a more sporty option, can borrow a SUP starter kit (stand up paddleboard), surfboard, or kayak, with PFDs (personal flotation devices).

There is no cost involved in this innovative program, and the kit can be borrowed for up to 10 days. Famous Moneypenny APs simply need to sign up for the recreation kit they’d like to borrow and sign a few terms and conditions before picking it up from the summer activities cabinet and returning it after use.

Charlotte Ashdown People Director at Moneypenny commented: “Our people work so hard for us, answering calls from businesses around the world, 24/7, and we have always gone the extra mile to improve their well-being. -being at work and outside. As the long hot summer continues, we want to give something back that will help everyone relax and allow them to try out a sport they’ve always dreamed of trying. We have already had a fantastic response to the program and will be responding to staff suggestions for future kit to add to our current menu of activities.
