NOPD Arrests Drug and Narcotics Suspects in Seventh District
On October 22, 2021, the NOPD arrested Brandon Eserman (left photo, white male, birthdate: 7/30/1982), Kimberly Weikum (center photo, white female, birthdate: 02/05/1974) and Megan Hecker (pictured right, white female, DDN: 8/18/1992) on multiple counts arising from a traffic stop at block 4400 of Dodt Avenue.
NOPD officers from the Seventh District carried out a road check at this location. During the traffic stop, officers encountered a woman who was later identified as Weikum. During the investigation. Officers determined that Weikum was driving a reported stolen vehicle from St. Tammany Parish. It was also discovered that Weikum resided and also owns property in an area known for narcotics activity in the Seventh District.
Officers obtained a search warrant for the scene and, during a search, located Eserman at the scene and in possession of crystal meth, drug paraphernalia, three firearms and an airsoft rifle. One of the guns was also reported stolen in DeSoto Parish.
Additionally, Hecker was also found at the scene and arrested on pending warrants unrelated to the narcotics investigation.
Eserman was incarcerated at the Orléans Parish Justice Center for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, illegal carrying of weapons while in possession of narcotics and possession of a stolen firearm.
Weikum was incarcerated at the Orléans Parish Justice Center for illegal possession of stolen objects, unauthorized use of furniture and possession of methamphetamine with the intention of distributing them.
Hecker was incarcerated at the Orléans parish justice center for aggravated domestic crime, domestic violence and theft. These are outstanding charges unrelated to the narcotics investigation.
