Here’s how it works:

1) When ordering online, use the Jackson Police Department address for delivery:
N168W19851 Main Street
Jackson, WI 53037

2) Make sure your name is on the packaging as it appears on your ID;

3) Jackson Police will be on hand to collect your items between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily. (If you need time outside of these hours, give the JPD a jingle and figure something out.) If the door is locked, turn right, pick up the phone in the entrance, and ask the dispatcher to meet you. If Jackson Police are busy with calls, leave your phone number and a call will be returned as soon as possible.

4) We ask that packages be picked up within three to five days of the delivery date so that we can meet the number of packages we expect to receive. Again, if you need to pick it up outside of this time please give us a call and we can figure something out;

5) When picking up, please have your ID and tracking documents with you; we don’t want to accidentally give your package to someone else. (That’s important! We have people in Jackson who share the same name, who aren’t related, and who even live on the same street.) If someone else is going to pick it up; please call the department and let us know in advance. They will still need to provide ID to pick up the package.

This program is free; however, we ask that those who participate bring an article from The Washington County Humane Society Wish List or donate cash to the shelter. We will take care of delivering all donations to the shelter.

We will help you protect yourself from the porch pirates, you will help the animals who are waiting for their forever home.

If you have any questions about this program, please feel free to email [email protected] or call us at 262-677-4949.
